Equality of men and women
Gender equality is a central pillar of our corporate culture at HYDRO LEDUC. We strongly believe in the importance of creating an inclusive work environment where everyone has equal opportunities for growth and professional development, regardless of gender.
Following the “for the freedom to choose one’s professional future” law of September 5, 2018, HYDRO LEDUC publishes on its website the results of the gender equality index, calculated from the salary data of 2018. Unable to achieve a significant result as 3 out of 5 indicators are not calculable, HYDRO LEDUC scores a partial 15 out of 25. This score does not qualify us within the index grid, but it does not hinder our determination to foster a more equal organizational culture.
Since signing the triennial agreement in January 2017, we have launched various initiatives to promote equality within our company. This includes awareness, training, and implementing policies to ensure fair opportunities for all team members. We also recognize the importance of diversity in our workforce and strive to create an environment where everyone’s contributions are valued, regardless of gender.
Our commitment to equality extends beyond compliance with laws and indicators; it is a core value embedded in our daily practices. We are committed to continuing our progress toward greater parity, ensuring fair treatment and equal opportunities for all, and creating an environment where everyone can thrive professionally, regardless of gender.
